Open Language Archives Initiative. Organization, emanating from an international partnership with the objective of unifying practices and creating a network of services for the provision of linguistic resources. This organization defines a description format (metadata schema) and provides tools for the community (aggregator, statistics, quality analysis, faceted search engine). The metadata harvested by OLAC includes 201493 resources, concerning 6909 living languages ​​and 515 dead languages ​​(data as of September 15, 2014, according to statistics published on their site.
