Here plurilingual corpus means any corpus whose recorded data involve bilingual or plurilingual speakers, handling several languages in the recordings. The ratings take into account these differences, crucial for research on bi / plurilingualism, phenomena of heteroglossia, code variation (code-blending and code switching), linguistic ideology, acquisition of a second language, etc.
We distinguish this situation on the one hand from translation corpora (two or more versions of the same text in different languages are aligned) and from corpora using a description language different from that of the described language (cf. Metalanguage of description).
