Annotation Project

Overview

Transcription and corpus annotation are core operations in digital humanities and the question of collaborative corpus annotation is the focus of the new CORLI project.

Three axes are currently prioritized:

Axis 1

Providing a platform for transcription and simple annotation of language data – deliverable document created within the Palamède project, resulting from a collaboration initiated in 2020-2021 between the Lorraine Regional House of Human Sciences (MSH Lorraine), CORLI, Huma-Num, Atilf and Lit&art as well as various transcription tool designers, starting with TACT

Axis 2

Providing a high-level annotation platform with active learning functionalities, in collaboration with the INCEpTION team (TU Darmstadt) following our first collaboration in 2020

Axis 3

A collaborative class annotation resource based on the GUM model, involving the CLLE, Loria, Lidilem and BCL labs.
